So the team ( Team Triumph) is moving forward with grace and power and is meshing as a family beyond belief, we all seem to really prefer  each other and enjoy one another’s company. Which is a huge blessing as you can only imagine due to the fact that we are going to be living with one another for still for another ten months. We laugh a lot and like I said in my earlier post  we all really want the same thing, which is to seriously go deep into God and all of that which retains to him!

Monday of last week the Lord placed it on my heart to start a three day fast , so I went to Sam, the other male on our team and told him what I was going to do ,and as he heard what I told him he stepped back for a couple seconds then looked at me and said “alright let’s do it”. I wasn’t telling him so that he would fast with me, but I kinda knew that he wasn’t going to let me do it alone! ……….. It’s the mindset that he and I are cultivating together for this entire year, the mindset, that we are now brothers and what we do this year we do it together! So the first two days of the fast went great, although it can really wear on you here due to the combination of all the walking and energy we use every single day, but we were doing good and as we approached out last 24 hours of the fast Sam and I had decided that when we got back to the campsite we would track up to this cliff ,which isn’t far from where we sleep, and just spend time worshiping God and crying out to him for this upcoming year! However, that day our ministry ran long so we didn’t get back to the campsite until around ten! But as soon as we got back Sam came up to me in the pouring rain and asked if I still wanted to go………….after thinking talking about it for a minute we put our rain coats on , got our flashlights out and went to go seek God!

The Crazy thing about Sam and me is that if you were to look at the two of us, one would think we have nothing in common. After all Sam’s into tattoos, tight clothes, and doesn’t care much for sports while I hate tight clothes, and have zero tattoos, and am an avid lover of sports.   However it is so amazing how we are truly one in spirit! We are both what one could say as “radicals” in the way we worship, pray, and preach!……  After all I think it would be fair to say that all of us are radicals who signed up for this trip. lol

After about a 30 minute track through the rain, mud, and sea weed we made to the top of the cliff . At which point we turned our iPods on full blast and just began to yell, scream, pray, worship, and dance unto our God! Before it was all said and done I think all we were wearing was our shoes and pants, as we worshiped our God with reckless abandonment. After about an hour and an half passed after communing with Jesus we embraced each other prayed over one another! It was a night I will never forget, a night when me and my brother hiked a cliff in Ireland through the dark of the night and danced before God in midst of the wind and the rain!
