Short and quick Bio about my life ……..where I am, where I’ve been, and where I believe I’m going!        Currently …….. I’m a 26 year old teacher and coach at an inner city school in Dallas, Texas.   In a short three year teaching career I’ve taught every grade ranging from kindergarten to seniors. (I prefer the seniors!  However I’m a sucker for the hugs that all the elementary kids love to give you!!) .  I accepted Christ and was baptized as a young boy, always attending church on a regular basis. Growing up in the church the Lord truly blessed me and all the others kids in the small town of Italy, Texas with one of the best youth ministers! To have someone who was so on fire for God and was able to be patient with all of our adolescent ignorance and immaturity was an enormous blessing, he was always there to love on us just as Christ would have him do! Kyle Mitchell thank you, your seeds are producing fruit!

Fast forward ……..Attended College in Abilene, Texas and Graduated from McMurry University in 2006 with a B.S. in multidisciplinary studies (also known as a P.E. Degree haha). College was a great experience that I wouldn’t trade for anything! It was a place where I met some of the best friends I’ll ever have along with some of the best times I ever had! I’m always quick to tell people if I could relive one year of my life for the rest of my life it would be my senior year in college! My senior year  was great due to the fact that I got to live with two of the best friends a  guy could ask for, attending class for only three hours a day , and working just enough hours at Target to ensure that I have enough money to make it through the next week! It was also during that year that the Lord completely changed my life. Though raised in church and baptized as a young boy, college brought on a completely different lifestyle. A lifestyle full of partying, women, and everything else under the sun that this world has to offer! It wasn’t until I was 23 years old and soon to graduate that I found myself in an all too familiar position, dry-heaving in my bathtub while trying to splash cold water on my face to keep from losing consciousness due to all the substances I had placed in my body throughout the night when I began to call upon the name of the Lord, crying and yelling all at the same time, when I Truly experienced what it means to be born again! I could go into so much more detail, but long story short……from that night on life’s never been the same!!

Been running the race ever since. The Lord has allowed me to do his work in the schools’ through   F.C.A. With the Lord moving in powerful ways through so many students!   At the age of 24 I knew the Lord was calling me to preach the Gospel and to go into full-time ministry, so after teaching two more years here I am now, ready to go serve on the mission field for a year, and upon returning from this trip enrolling back into school and getting a degree in some field of ministry! Of course that is unless the Lord changes these plans of mine! haha!

Quick family background

I come from a family of five. Have two older sisters who are both married and combined have three beautiful girls! Which makes me an uncle of three, I’m a pretty good babysitter however I don’t do diapers well!   My mom and dad have been married for 35 years. I have the definition of a Godly mother! My dad always tells me I’d be lucky to find a woman half as good as my mom to marry, no doubt he’s right, still looking for a replica of her!   My dad is by far the greatest of all time! I always tell everybody that whenever I call my dad on the phone I need to be prepared to talk about the Gospel for at least 30 minutes! My dad is one who has always been there for me, good days and bad, ready to help in deed and word, always saturated with Godly Wisdom! Whether is just a phone conversation when  I’m calling for advice or if he has to drop everything on a dime to come be with his son he needs him! I don’t know where I’d be without my dad, words just can’t express how grateful I am for both my parents!
