Over the last month I have been living and doing ministry at the compound of HopEthiopia. This ministry is INCREDIBLE!

  • We sifted dirt and used the sifted particles to make bricks! The bricks will be used by a team in September to construct a building in the village.
  • We helped with a reforestation project by planting trees at a local school.
  • We taught english to the children at the orphanage.
  • We also spent time getting to know the kids, the staff, and loving them.

As I briefly mentioned this compound included a children’s village. There are 30+ kids that live right on sight at HopEthiopia. Like kids everywhere they are crazy about cell phones, iPads, and anything else technology related. I noticed that the kids were regularly recording videos on my squad-mates phones. I had the idea to compile the video and make something that was completely shot by the talented kids of the orphanage. So here it is!

(Side note: the closest WiFi was about 3 hours away! So that’s why I was MIA for whole month)
