Some of you are looking at my title and thinking that I don't know how to type correctly. And while that may be partially correct (my pinky finger is in a perpetual love affair with "delete"), I really did mean to type it like that. Why, you ask?

Well….It's because I just switched from July route 2 (R-squad) to July route 4 (T-squad). Get it? R…T…If you're not laughing, I'm sorry. I kinda like bad jokes like that. (I'm still giggling while writing.)

Wanna know how this came about? Okay. Since you asked so sweetly:)

At the beginning of this journey when I first thought about what route I wanted to apply for, I looked at the country Ireland and said…that's the one. If it was only one country, that would be the country I would want to go to. And being someone who had never felt specifically called to be a missionary, I knew that was the route.

Fast-forward from December to May when I received an email. It was simply worded and asked for the women of R-squad to consider switching to another route. We simply had a veryyyy large group, nearly double the numbers of the squads we were being asked to consider.

So I looked at the routes, wrote down the countries, started praying. I talked to my wisdom-filled parents, and listened for anything and everything that would be telling me to switch. After talking and listening I hadn't gotten very far, but then I had a memory jump into my mind of several times I've been trying to figure out what to do. The words that helped me decide are: "Do you think that in your decision to continue walking with God, that He would abandon you? If you ask, He is there. Why would you think that whatever 'mistake' you might make, He wouldn't be there?"

And I knew. Whatever my decision, I'm still asking Him to be there. I'm still holding His hand. And luckily, I still get to go to Ireland:)

So, here's the new line up!

  • Romania
  • Ukraine
  • Ireland
  • India
  • Sri Lanka
  • Kenya
  • Uganda
  • Rwanda
  • Thailand
  • Cambodia
  • Malaysia

Now, if you want to support me, please do. Whether that is in prayer (needed) or financially (also needed) I greatly appreciate your blessing and faithfulness.

Would you like to know how to?

Well, in prayer, you talk to Jesus. However you talk to Him, do that.

In financial giving, click on that "Support Me" button to the left and follow the directions.

Many thanks and many blessings,

Audrey
