I am sitting in
Mwanza, Tanzania writing to you in an internet café. We arrived in Mwanza yesterday after a 16 hour bus ride. It was a long night, but we got here
safely. We immediately met our contact,
Pastor Paul, who took us to his house where we will be staying. As we were driving to his house we got to
pass beautiful Lake Victoria and the incredible landscape here. There are walls of rocks scattered around the
land. It is breathtaking.

We drove for a
while through the city before we came to the bumpy dirt road we would take to
Pastor Paul’s house. Eventually we
reached an area where the car couldn’t go anymore so we would have to walk the
rest of the way. We didn’t quite understand
what that would mean, but the contacts we were with would not let us carry our
large packs and they carried them for us. One woman grabbed one of our HUGE packs and put it on her head to carry. We were highly impressed. Even more impressed when we realized that we
would be hiking up a mountain to get to Pastor Paul’s house. We were all out of breath and sweating by the
time we reached his house, but the view is completely worth is. We look out over a valley and up to another
mountain side full of houses. Again, it
is breathtaking.

We have been
told while working here we are going to take part in door to door ministry,
preaching, crusades, hospital ministry and Bible studies. It is going to look a lot like our past few
months in Africa. This month though, I
am working with my new team. I can’t say
that it feels like my team yet. I think
especially since I was switched onto a different team last month, this only
feels temporary to me. Again, I know
that this change is going to be an amazing thing, it is just going to take time
to get used to new people around all the time.

Please pray for
my team to become unified and create bonds extremely fast. Also pray that we work together effectively in
ministry and can bless those that we come in contact with.

I love you all!
