Calcutta!!
My team is out of Africa! We are heading into India and team Crux is headed to Calcutta with team Remnant. Once we get into Calcutta we do not have any specific ministry planned out for us. We will be ATLing (Ask the Lord) to see what ministry we feel He is calling us to.
I am sitting in Qatar right now thinking about how we are out of Africa. We spent three months there and it is going to be crazy thinking that I am going to have to get used to a new culture and a new language and a new people group!
As hard as this past month was and these past three months have been it is going to be weird being gone. By far, my favorite African country was Tanzania. I loved the people and our contact and his family. It was hard leaving them, but I am so excited about this new opportunity. I am excited about India as hard as it might be. We women have been told that we are not allowed to look men directly in the eye, we have to be completely covered from head to toe (including having scarves over our head) and it is going to be HOT!! 99 degrees not including humidity, so essentially it will be about 120 degrees each day! HOT!!!
Pray for me and my team as we head into a country that is full of people who may not be that open to receiving what we have to say.
