Hi everyone, sorry it took me so long to post but I haven’t had much access to the internet.  So our first week in Ireland we were in Dublin and our entire squad was together at a campsite.  We had church services and worship everyday at a nearby hotel.  Then we took a three hour bus ride to Galway, Ireland.  We were at a campsite right next to the ocean, which was beautiful…the only problem was that there was a massive amount of wind and rain(which we lost quite a few tents to).  So my team and two other teams were partnered with a church called Discovery church.  We did a lot of practical ministry to serve the people in the city such as scrubbing graffiti off walls and cleaning up trash.  We also did a lot of just trying to build relationships with people we met.  We would talk to people on the streets and invite them to church.  One day we did free face painting and hairbraids to raise awareness about the church and just show them that people care.  We also did practical things to help out people in the church.  We painted houses for a few of the church members and took part in their church services.  It was challenging in the sense that people are very cynical in Ireland and most of them don’t want to hear about God but we were able to get through to a few people.  On our day off we got to go to the cliffs of Moher which were amazingly beautiful but soooo windy.  There were times when I couldn’t put one foot in front of another because the wind was blowing so hard against me.
fun fact about Ireland:
-Everyone in Ireland has dogs and they love their dogs, but they don’t clean up after them…I think almost all my team members stepped in poo at least once.
I’m actually in Romania right now and hopefully I’ll get a chance to write a blog about how it’s going and what God has been teaching me soon!
