Well, it’s almost here.  I never thought it would really happen, but the day after tomorrow I’ll be leaving the country for 11 months.  Here’s a little glimpse of the past few weeks of preperation.

-I’ve been saying goodbye to all my friends and family.  My family threw a big going away party for me and that was a lot of fun.  Here’s a picture of me with my brother and some of my cousins.
My cousins Emily, Melody and Cade and my brother Luke.
-My parents took me out to Red Lobster for an early birthday/going away present.  That’s me mum and I.
Me and me mum at Red Lobster...yumyumyum.
-And I’ve been PACKING!  Buying…Stuffing…Vacuum Sealing…and I’ve managed to make it all fit into my lovely orange and black backpack(which I wanted to name Yoda, but unfortunately there weren’t any green packs) with a final weight of 32.5 pounds.(Well, if you also count my smaller backpack that weighs 15.5 pounds there’s actually a total weight of 48 pounds I’ll be lugging around…but don’t tell my parents that :P)
Now all I have left to do is get a haircut and try to learn as many french phrases as possible within the next twenty-four hours and I’m set to go!  I love you J Squad and can’t wait to be together again!
Check out this video it’s awesome, I think I’ve watched it almost every day for the past two weeks.
