We continued praying for her for two hours. At last the girl said she felt better, but that she could still feel evil spirits inside her. She was exhausted and asked us to leave her alone. So we did. Our contact was due to pick us up any moment. When He arrived, he quickly assessed the situation. He took the girl aside and questioned her. He felt that the best thing to do was to comeback on Saturday and to finish the deliverance.

All day Friday this girl was in my thoughts. Finally Saturday came. When we arrived to the building, we were surprised to find a YWAM team there. They had no idea about the situation but had come to share the gospel and teach English to the children. When the YWAMers heard about the evil spirit, they quickly assented to join us in prayer. We crowded into the living room and begin worshiping God together.

Pastor Mark began praying over a young girl that had come forward asking for prayer. She proclaimed Jesus Christ as Lord and her forehead was anointed with oil.

As the worship continued, the demon possessed girl slipped into the room and crouched by herself in a corner. When Pastor Mark motioned her forward she came. He begin praying for deliverance and the girl bared her teeth and begin screaming. Her ear piercing shrieks filled the room as the two teams came together asking for her deliverance.

There were five or so people around her, while the rest of the room prayed and praised God behind them. In the middle of the chaos, peace filled my heart. A longing for this girl to be free wrung my heart as I knelt down and begin interceding for her. Others soon joined me and we poured out our hearts.

By this time the girl had sat down. Her cries became quieter. Then they stopped entirely. I looked up to the sight of this girl renouncing the evil spirits and proclaiming that Jesus Christ is Lord. Tears of thankfulness filled my eyes. Her forehead was anointed with oil and joy spread across her face.

She was given a new name, Rebekah. She ran from person to person hugging them. It was a beautiful sight to behold.

Then Pastor Mark called up the little boy. We prayed over him also and soon he too renounced the demon and proclaimed Jesus Christ as Lord.

It was an amazing experience to be part of. I am so humbled that God gave me and my team this opportunity to witness His deliverance of these children. God is so powerful. I am excited to see what else He has in store for my team.

Please keep Rebekah in your prayers. She is weak and it will be a fight for her to not fall back into her old ways. Pray that she will be established in the Word of God and for her protection.

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.
