Dear friends!
I hope this letter finds you doing well! I recently graduated from OSU with a degree in Recreational Therapy and currently work in Bartlesville at a school for children with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. I love my job and what my degree allows me to do, however my desire to do international mission work keeps growing and growing.
As you may know, throughout my time at OSU I had the opportunity to spend part of my summers on mission trips to Ethiopia. They were the best summers of my life (so far!) and have helped to cultivate a deep passion within my heart for the lost and broken people around the world. Since these trips it has been my desire to return to the mission field to continue sharing the love of Christ with people throughout the nations (Matt. 28:18-20).
I am delighted to share with you that the opportunity of a lifetime has come and in January 2014 I will be leaving for an 11 month Christian mission trip to 11 countries! I will be serving as a missionary for Adventures in Missions in their World Race program where my team and I will partner with churches and ministries in local communities to preach the Gospel, plant churches, work in orphanages, minister to women and children who are trapped as a result of human trafficking, and bring the restoration and hope of the Father’s love to many tribes and nations.
To make this trip possible, I need to raise $15,000 in scholarships. This money will cover all of my expenses on the field while I am gone for 11 months. I am so grateful for this opportunity that God has given me, and have every confidence that He will provide for my needs! Ultimately, my prayer is that He will do that through you.
