Dear
Friends and Family,

I am excited to share with you about an amazing
opportunity God has provided for me. I have been accepted to participate in The
World Race starting July 1, 2010 through Adventures in Missions.  This is a unique opportunity to respond
to the Lord as He continues to call me deeper into relationship with Him and
share all that He has given me. After all, the Word teaches that freely we
receive, freely we should give.

Most of
you are probably wondering, “What is the World Race?” Let me tell you. The
World Race is an adventure in missions. I will be visiting 11 countries in 11
months. In each country I will live within a community and minister to the
unique needs of the people. The variety of ministries my team will be involved
in includes working at orphanages and refugee camps, helping with relief
efforts, teaching, preaching the Word, aiding church plants and much more.

The
countries I will be visiting include the Domincan Republic, Haiti, Romania,
Turkey, Mozambique, Malawi, an unspecified region of Africa, Thailand,
Cambodia, China and the Philippines. Before leaving I will be attending a 10
day training in Georgia where I will meet my team. My trip will be from July 1,
2010 to May 31,
 2011.

My
departure date is quickly approaching and I need your prayer and financial
support. The entire trip will cost approximately $16,000. Of this amount I need
$1,000 by May 22
nd. I will need an additional $7,000 by July 1st.
What I am asking of you is an initial gift to help with immediate needs and
then a monthly donation commitment for the duration of my travels. After
raising the initial $8,000 all I would need would be 15 people to commit to
giving $50 a month for 11 months. Easy peasy!

If you
want to get creative in your giving, I am registered at REI.com for the outdoor
gear I will need on this venture. I will also be selling a unique blend of
coffee designed to help me raise funds for the trip (more to come). Finally,
you can give donations through my trip blog
http://aubriewooden.theworldrace.org.
Please stay connected with me throughout the year through this blog.

I have enclosed a response
card and pre-addressed envelope which invites you to share in this ministry.
Please make checks payable to Adventures In Missions and return the response
card with your donation to Adventures in Missions PO Box 534470 Atlanta, GA
30353-4470. The response card will provide AIM with the information necessary
to send you a receipt for your donation. Please send all donations by
April
30th.

Adventures
In Missions is registered with the Internal Revenue Service as a 501 (c) (3)

I realize that I cannot sit
down with each of you personally but I would love to talk to you further about
this ministry and answer any questions that you may have.  Feel free to call me at 517.917.8993 or

your prayers and financial support. You are more a part of this journey than
you realize. Thank you for your generosity.
