Ministry: Door of Hope
About Ministry: Door of Hope is a ministry were women can take their babies instead of abandoning them. There are houses for babies and houses for toddlers. The children reside at Door of Hope as they go through the adoption process.
My Ministry: For me specifically I work in the toddler house which houses seven healthy toddlers. I am with them from sun up to sun down, changing diapers, singing, dancing, cooking and cleaning. I really love this ministry and enjoy being a mom, if only for two and a half weeks.
Update:
Again, I apologize for the lack of communication the last month or so. While in Mozambique I caught Malaria and was down for the count for a while. Our team left early and were blessed with an amazing free flat here in Johannesburg.
We are going to the Philippines next and hopefully to China the following month. Please pray for our squad as it is very challenging to get into China.
