The next day we got our translator to read the prescriptions and tell us what she needed to do, and we got the information from our contacts wife, and realize that one of them is a blood test. So we go to the nearest place to get a blood test done, which is just down the road from our house. So we go in and go to the front desk and ask tell them what we need… we couldn’t help but notice the piercing screams coming from some where in the building. They wave us into a room and as you walk in there is a wall right in front of you creating a hallway that gives a minimal amount of privacy to the people getting their blood drawn. We open the door to go into the hallway and instantly realize where the screams are coming from! We were trapped in this small dim lit hallway as a child is screaming. I don’t really know how to describe this scream, but it is the kind that requires all your efforts and usually only allows for one good one, but this child had super power screaming abilities! It got to a point that the only thing I could do was laugh!
Then it was silent for a moment and the pleading sobs began… “No lo hagas… no lo hagas! (Don’t do it… don’t do it! “No quiero… no quiero! ( I don’t want… I don’t want!) Followed by more piercing screams. At this point I can’t contain my laughter any more!
I started to feel really bad about this poor kid… I don’t know their life! What if this child is really sick, and has some horrible disease, and I am laughing at his pain…. Nope!.. I still can’t contain my laughter! Then the screaming stopped and soft sobs come our way. Around the corner comes a little boy holding a ball of cotton on the tip of his index finger… no band-aides on his arms, just the one finger prick…
This was not the end of Aubrie’s struggle, she stopped for a few days and started again and dealt with the issue for nearly two months straight, before we had to go to another Dr in the Czech Republic (we were blessed with another contact whose wife just had a baby) but we were prepared with a translator this time, and she has been treated. We are thankful for her energy being restored and proper medication to bring her into balance! Praise Jesus!
If you skipped part one, we just got prescriptions from a Dr. in the Dominican Republic and don’t know what to do with them:

I started to feel really bad about this poor kid… I don’t know their life! What if this child is really sick, and has some horrible disease, and I am laughing at his pain…. Nope!.. I still can’t contain my laughter! This had to be going on for a good 20-30 minutes. Then the screaming stopped and soft sobs come our way. I prepare myself for this child who must have had the works done… and around the corner comes a little boy… I look him once over and all I see no band-aides on his arms or legs, nothing, but him holding a ball of cotton on the tip of his index finger… oh the torturous finger prick! As you can imagine I have not control over my laughter now!
