Hello!! Thank you for visiting my page!
A little about myself, I was raised in Southern Maine, I have 3 other siblings and a cat. It’s true what they say, we eat only “lobstah” and our diets are very bland. Haha just kidding! We do like our meat and potatoes and our lobster with hot butter. I grew up on a farm with fresh meat (can you just smell the fresh greasy bacon?), eggs, milk, and with that luxury, lots of chores. I received my Bachelors in Nutrition and transplanted to Southwest Louisiana for my Masters and Dietetic Internship! I worked at a hospital as a Clinical Dietitian serving a lot of different populations and loved every minute.
I went on my FIRST missions trip to Honduras in High School! And that was all it took for me to fall in love with the mission field. To have another opportunity to serve God and be a shining light in His Kingdom brings me more joy than I could ever imagine.
I first heard about The World Race from a coworker. We both thirst for adventure and travel and the thought of doing something more with my life was on my mind, however, a thought was all it was. That was until she told me about the World Race which combined my love of serving with the gospel in mission work. A lightbulb went off at that moment and I couldn’t stop the idea in my head until I sat down and started the application process. Since being accepted in July God has overcome every single mountain in my path.
God has brought me on tremendous journeys throughout life thus far, some lessons I wouldn’t have chosen for myself, but none the less He is always using them for His Glory as we turn and seek His wisdom and truth. Of all the adventures I could not be more excited about the one I’m about to embark on in January! I pray for your support, your love and most importantly your prayers! God has been moving and grooving in my life. He is always faithful, always merciful, and even better, His love is never ending!
