We were finally able
to enjoy pizza from India!

Boy, it was such a
treat for us. One because it’s pizza. Two because we weren’t eating rice,
curry, and boiled eggs for lunch.

Marvelous.

Then we were
summoned to Meena’s mom’s house for second lunch and had to eat the usual.

We were sent to the
upstairs room and asked to sit down. Meena’s sister brought Courtney and I
books. She brought me the India Life Insurance Instruction Guide and Courtney
the book entitled, “What is a Christian?”

The books were both
in English and we couldn’t help but laugh so hard about the book she gave me to
read.

After we waited,
they called us down for food. This time we were treated with coffee and dance
after second lunch.

All the little girls
on the lane came and danced for us. Some of their names are Quity (cutie),
Blessy, Honey, Sunny, Minny and Pandu.

Their dancing here
is a bit different than ours. It seems weird they can dance the way they do,
it’s kind of scandy in America.

They move their
hips, shimmy, and shake it. They also show their mid-drift here, yet they don’t
show shoulders or knees. Complete opposite of our culture.

Us girls had to get
up and dance with them too. The older Indian women laughed and laughed behind
us. We were working it and had that be our workout for the day.

We were
actually dancing to Christmas music. Which, by the way, they have their houses
decorated for Christmas now. Early or late… we aren’t sure.

When we left for the
service tonight, we walked onto the lane and there was a camel just hanging
out. So, of course we took a picture with it.
