I’ve been in Asia for the past six months eating rice for
every meal.
This last month in Vietnam has been my favorite. I invested
in two girls this month. One I got to share Jesus with and she accepted Him
into her life. The other I spent a lot of time with and shared the light of
Christ with her.
I played Ultimate Frisbee a lot! I felt so blessed God
provided that for me. I’ve missed Frisbee so much.
I decorated many churches for Christmas, lead worship for
Christmas services, and joined many Christmas services. This was the best place
to spend Christmas away from home.
We were with two other teams this month, so our Christmas
was with a big family. Christmas Eve we had a big meal of garlic mashed potatoes
and shrimp scampi. Christmas morning we had eggs and French toast, and did a
gift exchange with gifts from our packs. I enjoyed watching several Christmas
movies at a local Coffee Shop that has a movie theater.

It’s weird to know that 6 months of my 11 month journey are
already gone and now I have less time left on the Race than I have spent on it.
I am ready to leave Asia and move on to Africa. I know God has something so
much greater for us there.
I’ve become unsatisfied with what my life’s been for the
past 6 months and I want more. I want more of Jesus, more of his Spirit, more
of his life. I want to see people healed, people raised from the dead, and more
of him changing me.

Our route in Africa has changed a bit. We’re going to Uganda
first, the Kenya, and then Tanzania.
We’re rafting the Nile River this coming week. I’m so
excited! It’s going to be a crazy adventure.
