Open air, unique smells, wind blown hair, numb bums, 8 girls, and huge smiles. My first memories in Thailand were formed in the back of this truck. Little did I know that an average of 5 hours a day would be spent here.

Our mode of transportation this month is a pick up truck. (The bed of the pick up truck.) It’s been fun to travel to our ministry sights like this. You get to see the country in a new and unique way.

There is something refreshing about Thailand. It is not called ‘the land of smiles’ for nothing. The Thai people that I have encountered so far have a joy that radiates. For a country with many trapped in the sex industry and a huge lack of Jesus you would expect otherwise. There are more people in this country with Aids than Christians. Sad right?

We are partnered with a pastor this month to help out in the local churches and teaching English in some of the schools. So far we have traveled to the far ends of the region we are located in helping an Australian team with revivals they are leading. It’s been exciting to see many Thai people trust Christ for the first time.

Pray for my team of all girls as we work this month. Pray that we won’t be too sunburned from traveling in the truck. And most of all pray for the hearts of all the people we are going to come in contact with. I hope to have more stories of this month coming soon!
