For my travels on The World Race, I have been teamed up with a group of wonderful, Jesus loving people. The only problem being that we come from all different corners of North America, and we know absolutely nothing about each other. Below is a survey that one of my squadmates put together so that we can get to know each other a little better. (For those of you who already know me, feel free to stalk my squadmates to find out more about them.)

What was your favorite food when you were a child?
Toast, honey, and cheese. Especially before bed.

What is one of your favorite quotes?

Indoor-Reading. Outdoor-Exploring/Hiking.

What chore do you absolutely hate doing?
Cleaning the litter box.

What is your favorite form of exercise?
Running.

What is your favorite time of day/day of the week/month of the year?
Early morning/Sunday/Fall.

What’s your least favorite mode of transportation?
Loud, crowded Matatu's in Africa.

What sound do you love?
Cat's purring.

If you could throw any kind of party, what would it be like and what would it be for?
A head-standing party. Why? So that we could forever have our names in the Guiness Book of World Records for the most people standing on their heads.

If you could paint a picture of any scenery you’ve seen before, what would you paint?
The open landscape of the Masai Mara that I saw on Safari in Kenya, Africa. It was so untouched, peaceful, and vast.

If you could choose to stay a certain age forever, what age would it be?
20 or 21.

If you knew the world was ending in 2012, what would you do differently?
Spend more quality time with Jesus and love people more.

If you could choose anyone, who would you pick as your mentor?
Elizabeth Elliot.

If you could witness any event past, present or future, what would it be?
God creating the World. That would have been awesome.

If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
Sign Language.

If you had to work on only one project for the next year, what would it be?
Build an exact replica of Noah's Ark.

If you were immortal for a day, what would you do?
Probably jump off tall buildings or try to swim the Atlantic Ocean.

If you had to change your first name, what would you change it to?
Harper or Harmony.

If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would you meet?
Jesus…duh! Or Ryan Hall.

If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do?
Fall over unconscious in shock.

If you could know the answer to any question, besides “What is the meaning of life?”, what would it be?
What day is Jesus coming back?

If you could be any fictional character, who would you choose?
Kim Possible.

Which celebrity do you get mistaken for?
I have never been mistaken for a celebrity. Although I did have someone in Africa tell me I looked like some lady on a spanish soap opera. (Not proud of that.)

What do you want to be when you grow up?
A missionary!!!

When you have 30 minutes of free-time, how do you pass the time?
Over-analyzing what I should do with my 30 minutes, and then end up missing out on it. But probably reading or going online.

What would you name the autobiography of your life?
"Snippets of Athena in the Midst of God's Great Plan"

What songs are included on the soundtrack to your life?
"Hakuna Matata," the Lion King, "Build your Kingdom Here," by Rend Collective Experiment, and "Wobble," by Family Force 5.

Have you ever had something happen to you that you thought was bad but it turned out to be for the best?
My parents splitting up, but it made me a stronger, more independant person.

What was the last movie, TV show or book that made you cry or tear up?
Her Mother's Legacy by Francine Rivers.

What’s the hardest thing you’ve ever done?
Run/Bike across America.

What was the last experience that made you a stronger person?
Admitting that I was wrong in a certain situation.

What did you do growing up that got you into trouble?
Trying to stay awake at night and read with a flashlight. Or jumping on my bed.

When was the last time you had an amazing meal?
My sister just cooked homemade ziti. Mmmmm…

What’s the best/worst gift you’ve ever given/received?
Best gift I've ever been given was a bracelet a kid made me in Africa. Worst gift I've ever been given a deformed looking rubber dinasaur. Best gift I've ever given was my family a roadtrip to California.
Worst gift I've ever given was a pile of really nasty looking, rubber poop for a white elephant gift exchange.

What do you miss most about being a kid?
Summer Vacation.

What is your first memory of being really excited?
Going for swimming lessons when I was 3.

What was the first thing you bought with your own money?
Lisa Frank Stickers.

When was the last time you were nervous?
Speaking in front of a church about my missions experiences.

What is something you learned in the last week?
God's timing is always perfect.

What story does your family always tell about you?
That time their crazy kid decided to run across America.

At what age did you become an adult?
Have I ever become an adult? This I am not sure of.

What is the coolest place you’ve ever been to?
Safari in Africa or the Salt River Canyon in Arizona.

What is one word that you would use to describe yourself?
Dreamer.

If you knew you could not fail, what would you do?
Travel the world with just a backpack for the rest of my life, telling people about the love of Jesus.
