An essential part of training camp was learning who we would be serving with the next 11 months. And it wasn’t an easy process. We went through a few days of team building activities where we were mixed and matched with others from our squad of approximately 50+ people. We were placed into the very capable hands of our Squad coaches to figure out what teams we would best grow and serve on.
And so my team was formed…
Here they are!!!

(From left to right.) David Garretson, Sarah Moore, Cindy Nickell, Rachael Miller,
Leigh Ann Howington, Hamilton Dilbeck, and me!
You may be wondering, “Where does ‘Four the 10’ come from???”
Initially when we were placed together to work out a scenario as a team, we had a hard time viewing ourselves as such. It wasn’t that we couldn’t get along or didn’t like each other, it was more that we didn’t know each other well enough. When asked how we would rate ourselves as a team (on a scale of 1-10), we came up with some numbers as low as 4!
So when teams were announced and our names called ‘together’, you can imagine the shock. After spending a little more time together we realized that God placed us together for a reason. Despite our differences, we want to be unified this next year. These 11 months are not about us anyway!
Our goal is to become that ideal team. That ‘number 10.’ If it takes all 11 months to achieve that, we’ll do whatever it takes.
So I wanted to more personally introduce my team members to you.
