Sad, huh? Is anyone anymore giving 110% in anything they do? If anyone ever seems to go above and beyond of what's expected, they may be labeled an over-acheiver or just plain crazy. Isn't that what we should be striving for?

I want to introduce you to Jason P. Lester. I had the pleasure of literally running into him about a year ago. He's an overall exceptional athlete. He's run and biked across the USA. He's run around all of the Hawaiian Islands more than just a few times. He did a 24-hour straight run. Did I mention he does none of this for personal achievement? No. He always completely gives of himself for others. Hurricane relief, Cancer, encouraging kids to excercise. In 2007 he started the Never Stop Foundation which aims to encourage young people to use athletics to think creatively about their lives and encourage them to do more.
He is disabled. He was hit by a car while riding a bicycle when he was only 12-years old. He was left for dead with 21 broken bones and a collapsed lung. Because of this he lost all ability to use his right arm. He became partially paralyzed.
It was his faith in God that brought him back to his feet again. It's a miracle that he is able to do all the things he does today.
I want to give 120% when I am given a task to do. Not just to gain human approval or self satisfaction. But because everything I do in this life is to honor Christ. Even when it is something that seems so mundane like doing laundry or making my bed. God created us to thrive!
"I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect." – Romans 12:1-2
***Small Update***
I am now $800 towards my next deadline on June 15th. I still have about $2,200 to raise before that date so consider being one of my supporters. This Saturday the 11th of May, I am asking that everyone donate $11 for 11 countries in 11 months. It may seem like a small amount, but with everyone participating together, it could be huge. Just click the 'Support Me!' tab to the left of the screen. Thank you!
