We’ve been in Peru for a week now..
Days here are long, hot, and exhausting; but incredibly wonderful at the same time.
We have gotten to do some awesome stuff already, like..
Spending several days repainting the school were staying at
Playing soccer with some kids
Well… My team played soccer with some kids, I sat on the bench and talked with this little girl the whole time.
She was so cute and sweet, even though she couldn’t understand me and I couldn’t understand her, she was stuck to my hip while everyone else played.
We also found a starbucks here so that’s been great!
We spent our first adventure day at the beach, some of the guys surfed, a few people fished, a few just walked around and I sat in the shade and read, it was a good day.
It was a great first week.
