This week during a team time we spent about an hour figuring out what our core values are.
Before we did this I hadn’t really given the term “cor values” much thought.
core values – “Core values are the fundamental beliefs of a person or organization. These guiding principles dictate behavior and can help people understand the difference between right and wrong.”
mine our:
1. happiness
2. creativity
3. wisdom
4. simplicity
5. love
Now looking back at my life I can see these core values constantly showing up in my life.
I’ve always been the one to try and make sure there is happiness where ever I am; so much so that I have it tattooed on me, I’ve always been super creative, I constantly look for wisdom, I love the simple things in life, and Love to something that means so much to me.
Happiness – Psalm 37:4 ” Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.”
Creativity – Exodus 35:35 “He has filled them with skill to do every sort of work done by an engraver or by a designer or by an embroiderer in blue and purple and scarlet yarns and fine twined linen, or by a weaver—by any sort of workman or skilled designer.”
Wisdom – Proverbs 4:6-7 “Do not forsake her, and she will keep you; love her, and she will guard you. The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom, and whatever you get, get insight.”
Simplicity – 2 Corinthians 1:12 “For our boast is this, the testimony of our conscience, that we behaved in the world with simplicity and godly sincerity, not by earthly wisdom but by the grace of God, and supremely so toward you.”
Love – 1 John 3:1 “See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him.”
