I just finished my first fundraiser. It was a 30/70 raffle. Whoever won received 30% of the profits and the other 70% went to my race.

It was beyond successful thanks to everyone buying tickets.

However, it wasn’t until today that I realized something.

I am NOT doing this fundraising alone.

It is more than just God and me.

I cannot succeed by myself.

I already knew I would need support from other people. But this goes so much deeper than support. This is pure unadulterated love. This is a working machine, and in order for everything to go smoothly, I have to have the parts.

In three weeks, I am holding a garage sale and bake sale. Multiple people donated to the garage sale, some are baking for me, and others are simply donating their time to help out at the garage sale.

In one month, I will have a booth at a festival. Two of my best friends are making stuff for me to sale. They are letting me make a profit off of their hard work. Simply because they love me.

My parents, sister, and other family members are dedicating their weekends, their money, and their sweat to me.

SO THAT I MAY SUCCEED.

Lately, I’ve been overwhelmed with everything I have to accomplish and the money I have to raise. But today, God opened my eyes to realize that I am not alone in this. Not only will He be with me every step of the way, but so will my family and friends.

This is not my mission trip.

This is OUR mission trip.

In the next few months I will probably say this a lot, but it will never be said enough:

THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART.

**I also have t-shirts for sale! $20 if you would like to buy one, let me know!
