I’m trying to keep my supporters as in the loop as possible! So, I decided that I was going to let those who are just joining my journey know about past fundraisers I have done, and future fundraisers I have planned! Hopefully this way, you will get a feel of the work I have put into this mission trip!
Past fundraisers:
- A 30/70 raffle. (You purchased a $2 ticket and if your name was drawn, you won 30% of the ticket sales and I kept the other 70%. We raised $500!)
- T-shirts (I am still selling them if you would like to purchase one!)
- Wreaths, Crosses, and jewelry that I sold at a Crafts fair. ($300 in sales and donations!)
- Yeti Cooler Raffle (Made a $200 profit!)
- Garage Sale/ Bake Sale (With donations and purchases, we made around $300)
Future fundraisers:
- On Saturday, September 26th, I am having a fundraiser lunch at Big Horn BBQ in Pearland, TX. If you live near there, come out and eat! Your meal purchase helps me in donations!
- On Sunday, September 27th, I am having a spaghetti lunch. We will be selling meals, baked goods, doing face painting for a donation, there will be a DJ, and we are still working out more ideas to do!
- In November, we will be attending a crafts fair and will be selling wreaths, crosses, jewelry, and hand-made antique black boards.
- I will be speaking with the coordinator over our concession stand at the Football games to see if he will let me do a fundraiser night there.
There is so much more in the works, this is just what we have mapped out. I’m always selling T-shirts and wreaths. If you would like to purchase either one, please feel free to message me! If you donate between now and September 25th, you will get a free T-shirt.
My birthday is September 24th (one day before deadline!) so I am asking for your birthday donations! Here are some possible ideas:
- $9 for the month I was born
- $24 for the day I was born
- $25 for the age I will be
- Just taking a chance here but: $1990 for the year I was born
