This month we were blessed to live with a wonderful family that took us in as if we were their own. We were so blessed so in honor of them, we've asked each member of the family to tell us their prayers and their hopes for their future and we want to ask all of you to pray for them. Prayer does powerful things and we are excited to see what happens!
Name: Paul
Age: 1 year 7 months
Paul was left abandoned on the side of the road when he was just 1 month old. Rithy, our contact, was called and he took Paul in right then. When Rithy arrived, Paul had not eaten in several days and was extremely weak. He could barely open his eyes and couldn’t even muster the energy to cry out from his hunger pains. Rithy began to feed Paul milk and he improved quickly. He regained strength and started to open his eyes. Today, Paul is a rambunctious year and a half year old. You would never know that he had ever been abandoned on the street or that he was so weak they were worried he wouldn’t survive.
Today, Rithy and his wife Jentil have made the decision to be Paul’s parents. They love him like he was there own son and would do anything to show him how loved he is.

Rithy’s prayer for Paul is that he will be able to go to Kindergarten even though the costs of a good education in Cambodia are high. Currently, Rithy does not have the money to send Paul to a good school. Rithy is afraid if Paul doesn’t go to school then he will be behind when they can send him to school and that will cause Paul to not won’t to continue his education. Rithy prays that Paul will want to learn and that he desires to improve his life no matter what comes his way.
Name: Pov
Age: 18
"I am a Cambodian boy. My name is Pov. I am 18 years old. Before I lived at Tov Beo province with my parents but now I am living in Phnom Penh City. I have 5 sisters and one brother. My sisters are older than I am. My brother is older than me too. My father is a farmer. My mother works at home. I like them very much. I go to a school near my house. I learn English, mathematics and computer at my school. Of all the lessons, I like English the most. I play fun games such as football, table tennis and volleyball. But I like football the most. When I grow up I wish to be a good player. I hope I will get my wish.

Now I would like all of you pray for me to get knowledge, strength, bravery, power and cleverness from Jesus.
One more things I think all of you know about our Church. We don't have building for our church and we are searching for a place. We also really need a house for the boys and another house for girls. I hope all of you will pray for me and my team to find these places.
As I told you something about to pray. I would ask all of you to pray for the Cambodian people to change their heart believe in Jesus."
