We had a cell group (which is an outreach program through the church) tonight, and I was really praying before we left the church that the Lord would speak through Kim (who had been wanting to say something, she just wasn’t sure what she wanted to say) and that our interpreter (Eliosel) would be able to understand and translate well for her. Eliosel speaks pretty good english, and is the youth leader of the church, but he sometimes has a hard time understanding what you are saying to translate it. We have had two cell groups prior to this, and he was having some trouble. But not tonight! How awesome is God? Kim talked about Romans 5:12-end and then basically gave the gospel presentation starting with the fall of Adam and Eve. When she got done saying a few things about salvation, she wasn’t sure what to say next. Eliosel had no problems interpreting what she was saying, and at that point, he said, “I help, I can help.” So he proceeded to talk to the people standing out in the street about Christ and Salvation. When he was finished, Anna asked if there was anyone who wanted to pray that for their lives, and two men spoke up and accepted the Lord! So incredible. I was so pumped after Kim got done doing her talk that God had answered my prayers about what she wanted to say and about Eliosel interpreting so well that I couldn’t stop smiling and praising God. Yesterday God hit me in the face with no looking for all these huge things to happen, but to be content in what he is doing, and I couldn’t have been more happy for those prayers to be answered. But then to have two more people accept Jesus as Lord and Savior, God totally blew me out of the water. What a great God!
