We made it safe and sound to the Domican Replubic yesterday! It was a long day of traveling. We had to be at the airport at 7am and then had am hour delay on the plane. Our flight was only about 2 hours though, but we then had a 4 hour bus ride to the town on San Juan where we are currently residing in. We have on site training here for 5 days, and then we start out on ministry….more to come with that. We only have time for a short blog today and that is all. The country is beautiful here, full of mountains surrounding the city, and we drove a good amount of the way along the beach. I am loving it! It is very warm here, but it is wonderful! I don´t miss Michigan weather at all!! We are getting familiar with the culture and people. I promise to write more very soon!
The Lord was really laying on my heart today the need to be in continued prayer for all of you back home. So know that I am praying for you, and continue to pray for us. There are lots of adjustments to make!
