As we anxiously awaited landing in Bangkok, we couldn’t wait to see Dave and Matt. We were in need of seeing people from our family (squad). As we got through customs pushing our bags, we eagerly looked for the boys. Little did we know they would be wearing these SWEET shirts they had purchased in Thailand and would be holding signs for us. What a great “homecoming” it was. Great to be embraced in our brothers arms and to be taken care of by them.

(Jenn, Dave–same team; Me, Matt, Anna–same team)

On the back of the white sign they wrote all three of our names, and the yellow sign says, “the girls with us can’t read Thai.” Haha…apparently they got a lot of laughs.

We headed to the YWAM base we are staying at for the night, and when we got into our room, there were flowers and another sign for us, plus a bunch of snacks and drinks. Oh how these boys love and provide for us. They are so good to us!

We are just resting right now and will be heading off to Cambodia at 3pm (Sunday) today (which is 3 AM EST on Sunday).

“To you, o Lord, I lift up my soul. O my God, in you I trust; let me not be put to shame; let not my enemies exult over me. Indeed, none who wait for you shall be put to shame, they shall be ashamed who are wantonly treacherous. Make me to know your ways, I Lord; teach me your paths. Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all the day long.”
