Wow, only halfway through training camp and the Lord is doing miraculous things. Not only in my life but in every squad that is here. We have endured consistent rain. (Putting a tent up and down in rain and mud should be considered a talent). We have met our people. Our family. These are the people I will spend holidays, joy’s, failures, and everything in between with. I love them. They have already impacted me in such a way. We have been worshipping and hearing from the Holy Spirit so clearly. We spend our days really connecting with our why for this journey. For me, I wanted to do good and share the love of Jesus. Sounds like that is what it should be about. BUT, IT IS SO MUCH MORE THAN THAT. I was reading in John this morning and felt like I needed to do this blog because we are ALL called to GO. Jesus says “peace to you, as the father has sent me, I also send you.” This really hit me this morning. Yesterday we learned of the statistics of how many “people groups” are unreached. We think that “spread the good news to all nations” means to every country. That is misinterpreted, it means to ALL PEOPLE GROUPS. After seeing firsthand how many people groups are unreached, it broke me. We aren’t called to go paint walls and clean up trash (which we will still do) but, we are called to share the Gospel to the unreached. We are so blessed here in the U.S. We have access to the Gospel. There are some people groups that have NEVER heard the name Jesus. I’ve taken it for granted. We have to do more. God’s purpose is universal reconciliation FOR universal worship. Mission is the plan of God to bring about the purpose of God. We are called to reach the unreached. John piper says it best, “missions exists because worship doesn’t”. We go because they don’t know. We go to bring the good news. We go because they deserve the same amount of love, mercy and grace that we get. Not from us, but from the one who gives it best.

Isaiah 62:10 says “go out, go through the gates; prepare a way for the people! Build it up; build up the highway: clear away the stones.”

WE NEED TO BUILD THE HIGHWAY!!! We need to move the stones of the unreached, the hurting, the sick, and the poor. We get to share the treasure of Jesus. We get to plant the seed that sets them free from bondage, the enemies lies, and hurt the devil puts in front of them.

People always say “I can share the Gospel here and there are so many unreached people here” the difference is that they have ACCESS to the Gospel. We are going to reach the unreached. I want to ask you to pray for the unreached. Pray for us as we prepare to share the Gospel to some who may not know the name, Jesus.

We are told to “Unite ALL things on heaven and in earth, to praise of his glorious grace”. I am saddened by how many do not know the name, Jesus. I am excited to take part in uniting the Kingdom.

Please pray for peace, clarity, understanding and patience as we GO AND DO WHAT GOD ASKS. I’m going to do what God asks and He will do what he needs to do. Together we will see miraculous things happen.
