Dear Supporter,
There aren’t even enough words to adequately describe how grateful I am to you for investing in me, believing in me, and trusting in God for the impact that this trip will have around the world. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. You will never realize the ways you have blessed me and the amount of love that I have felt throughout this whole process. I am blown away by the support that has come in for this trip and the words of encouragement that have been shared with me over the past year as I have been preparing to leave. I hope that you know how important and appreciated you are.
Thank you for giving me the world. Thank you for letting me live out a dream over 7 years in the making. Thank you for letting me follow God’s call and say “yes” to this new adventure. When I first signed up for this trip, I never imagined the number of people who would rise up around me in support both financially and spiritually/emotionally. In so many ways I feel inadequate and underprepared and unworthy of this calling, but I thank you for believing in me and the impact that God will make, through me, across the world.
I hope that you have been blessed through the giving. I pray that God will see your faith and willingness to give and pour out blessings on you in return. I hope that your faith can be restored and refreshed through this experience and that you always remember the role that you played in making this trip happen. This trip would not have been possible without you, and I hope that you know that.
Please don’t stop praying for me and my trip! Even as I reach fully funded (hopefully in the next few weeks!), your prayers are still just as valuable as the financial support. There is no way of knowing the obstacles and difficulties that my team and I will face throughout the next 11 months, but I do know, we absolutely need your prayers. Pray for the countries that we are going to- for the people who live there and the government over them. Pray for open doors and open opportunities to share the good news with them in ways that they can understand and relate to. Pray that God would prepare their hearts now to receive the message and be open to our discussions. Pray for seeds to be planted that we can help develop and that will continue to grow and spread long after we leave. Pray for our team as we finish preparing and packing. Pray for peace in leaving our families and friends behind. Pray for safety throughout the trip- physically, but also emotionally, spiritually, and mentally. Pray for team cohesiveness and a bond that is strong and unbreakable. Pray against any division that may rise against us. Pray for our leadership and advisors at Adventures in Missions. Pray for them as the finish the details of the trip and finalize arrangements in each country. Pray for wisdom and discernment throughout the trip in all of the decisions being made. Pray for our hosts in each country that we will be refreshing to them and helpful, and not a burden. Pray for every individual that we will come in contact with from our pilots or taxi drivers to our waitresses to our hotel manager. Pray that we will be able to make an impact through all of our interactions, even the minute, daily ones. Pray for strength and endurance throughout the trip and that we will consider every day a blessing and find new joy in every moment. Pray for our families and friends who are staying home, pray for safety and peace over them. Pray that God will refresh us daily and that we will continue to grow in Him throughout this trip and when we return. Pray for anything else that you can think of. Pray often.
Always know that you are an encouragement to me and that you matter more than you will ever know. You are more loved than you could ever imagine.
