Since being accepted to the World Race a lot has been on my mind. It has been pretty hectic. There is so much to do and so little time. There are so many things that I am worried about, one of them being blogging. I am TERRIBLE with grammar. So please have some mercy on me! However, there is one thing that has been on my mind a vast majority of the time. That is to make sure that I am being intentional with my time. I think I realize it more now than I have ever before.  Whether it is at work or with your family and friends, it is so easy to get caught up in the day to day hustle and bustle. There is always something to do next. There is always a new plan in the making. Always something to worry about and I mean ALWAYS. And recently I have had to do my fair share of planning. However, it much easier to plan when you feel every minute truly matters. As if there can be no wasted time. This feeling however has been truly humbling. I now am making sure to truly enjoy the time I have with each and every person I see. By taking the time to spend with the Lord, asking him for strength and peace as I begin this journey. To be there in the moment at all times. Even though there is so much to be done before I leave, I feel more at peace than I ever have. I know everyone always says “live in the moment” (insert more cheesy quotes here). But do we ever truly do that? Do you find yourself doing your bible study, then, before you know it, you are worrying about folding clothes, eating dinner, working out, etc..? Or eating dinner with friends or family with your face in your phone? I am sure everyone can agree with me that we are all guilty. So with that being said, put down your phone and live, and I mean truly LIVE.

Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.  Ephesians 5:15-17
