Last week we worked with a church in Ventanilla, Peru. The first few days were spent doing physical labor. This involved moving buckets of sand from one location to another so that we could level the ground. We worked at a total of four locations. The next few days, we spent some time in the community handing out breakfast, praying for several families, and participating in their church services. I was grateful to also help with some interpreting and develop some sweet friendships. I will definitely miss this place and these people.
Also, please keep me in your prayers as I have been sick the last two days mainly with a sore throat. Thanks to God I’m getting better little by little.

La semana pasada trabajamos con una iglesia en Ventanilla, Perú. Pasamos los primeros días allí haciendo trabajo físico. Estábamos moviendo baldes de arena de un lugar al otro para que la tierra se quedara plana. Trabajamos en cuatro ubicaciones diferentes. Los siguientes días pasamos tiempo en la comunidad repartiendo desayunos, orando por algunas familias y participando en algunos cultos. También estoy agradecida por haber podido interpretar y crear algunas nuevas amistades. Voy a extrañar este lugar y esta gente.
También, favor que ores por mi ya que he estado un poco mal de la garganta por algunos días. ¡Gracias a Dios estoy mejorándome poco a poco!
