Hey, I’m Ashley! I live in Concord, North Carolina. This May I will be graduating from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish and a minor in Linguistics. I love the Spanish language which is why the trip to Peru really excites me. I currently work as the assistant manager at a local donut shop. During my free time you can find me running, playing soccer, practicing guitar, learning photography, hiking, backpacking, reading, or spending time with my family. I chose the World Race because God has placed this trip on my heart for the past few months as a way to advance my long-term goal of full-time overseas missions and experience spiritual growth.

Este mayo, me graduaré de la Universidad de Carolina del Norte en Charlotte con una licenciatura en español y una segunda especialidad en la lingüística. Me encanta español y por eso estoy muy emocionada de ser parte del equipo que va a Perú. Soy subdirectora de una tienda de donas. Durante mi tiempo libre me gusta correr, jugar fútbol, tocar la guitarra, aprender la fotografía, ir de caminata, salir de mochilera, leer o pasar tiempo con mi familia. Escogí el World Race porque Dios ha puesto este viaje en mi corazón durante las meses pasadas y lo veo como una oportunidad de seguir la llamada de Dios y experimentar crecimiento espiritual.
