Hello 🙂

I am 17 years old and a senior in high school in Chanhassen, Minnesota. When I graduate in June, I plan to work this summer as a nanny and at the hair salon that I currently work at. Once September rolls around, I will be taking a bit of an adventure, specifically to the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Philippines, Botswana and South Africa. No big deal, right 🙂

Post World Race I plan to go to the University of Minnesota Duluth to study psychology and art – but who knows where God may take me!

Here are some things about me to start off:

  • I am not a very serious person, at all, I am the biggest goof
  • I love, love, LOVE music (Its such a gift) and I play guitar
  • I like winter more than summer, Minnesota taught me that (mostly because I get sunburnt in the summer)
  • I’ve played hockey and skated since I was 3… just another Minnesota thing
  • I really appreciate the outdoors, swimming in lakes especially
  • I laugh a lot – sounds cliche but its true
  • I have one brother a year older than me, he’s the funniest person I know
  • I wish I could take a golden retriever on this trip with me, or my cat Misty, but preferably a golden retriever

With that said, the biggest and most important part of me is my faith. I have a passion for Christ that has been with me since I was young.

“The joy of the Lord is your strength” (Nehemiah 8:10) IT’S TRUE!

I have found a big part of my faith rooted in worship music. I sing with my dad and lead worship at a local church – I love the spirit of worship.

I have felt a prompting from God to go on the World Race and it is my absolute and purest joy to be able to do so. I can’t wait to be the light of God to those in need and spread the GREAT news that is the Gospel.

(I also can’t wait to have 55 more brothers and sisters in Christ to share the experience with)

“How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”’ Romans 10:14-15
