We have been in Malaysia for a few days now. We had our first night of ministry on the 4th, it was a prayer meeting. I have heard about people in other countries being able to pray for hours without stopping. This was what the prayer meeting was like. It was an amazing experience! The power of the Holy Spirit fell on the room, and chill bumps covered my body in waves. I could not understand what was being said, but before we began we were given prayer points (outlines of what we would be praying for). It made me realize even though we speak different languages prayer is a universal language. It goes beyond words, to a deeper level of understanding that only God can fully comprehend. We are one in the body of Christ, unified under one Father. THE UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE IS GOD!!! Even though I could not understand all that was being said the Holy Spirit would give me little bits of information about what they were praying for. I had my eyes closed, the Holy Spirit would show me different colors. The Holy Spirit would also give me split second images of what the he was doing. Waring against the unseen enemy we were praying against. As I told you in my last blog, I have been praying for wisdom and understanding. God showed me a little bit of that last night. It was an amazing encounter with the Holy Spirit, and how he works in our lives if we will just listen to him and seek to know him more.
My group was praying against Satanic territories and Satanic alters. As we where praying I was praying in tongues. In the middle of this the Holy Spirit told me to open to my Bible. I flipped my Bible open to a random page, and this is the first thing my eyes fell upon…
Deuteronomy 32:32-34
“Their vine grows from the vine of Sodom, from the Vineyards of Gomorrah. Their grapes are poison, and clusters are bitter. Their wine is the venom of serpents, the deadly poison of cobra’s. The Lord says, ‘Am I not storing up these things, sealing them away in my treasury; I will take revenge; I will pay them back. In due time their feet will slip. Their day of disaster will arrive, and their destiny will overtake them.’ Indeed, the Lord will give justice to his people, and he will change his mind about his servants, when he sees their strength is gone and no one is left, slave or free. Then he will ask, ‘Where are there Gods, who ate the fat of their sacrifices, and drank the wine of there offerings?’ Let those gods arise and help you! Let them provide you with shelter! Look Now; I myself am he! There is no other God but me! I am the one who kills and gives life; I am the one who wounds and heals; no one can be rescued from my powerful hand!
Now I raise my hand to heaven and declare, “As surly as I live, when I sharpen my flashing sword and begin to carry out justice, I will take revenge on my enemies, and repay those who reject me. I will make my arrows drunk with blood, and my sword will devour flesh- the blood for the slaughtered and the captives, and the heads of the enemy leaders.”
I believe this was the Holy Spirit revealing to me what he is going to do in the future here in Malaysia. That all the Satanic alters and territories, will slip. They will experience disaster and they will call upon their gods for help, but none will come. For they worship false gods, and they give offerings to idols. King Jesus of the Bible is the one true God. He who as divine power and dominion over the spirits of darkness. Needless to say, this was a AH-HA moment with the Holy Spirit. Chill bumps spread from head to toe. The excitement of this word of knowledge was very exciting to me! I shared with some of my teammates what the Holy Spirit had reveled to me. The excitement spread to their faces as well! God’s power is something I could not even begin to describe. And in this moment of reading this scripture I could sense in the Holy Spirit his willingness to fight for the people here in this room praying against these forces!
We will have prayer meetings like this every Wednesday. I am looking forward to seeing what else the Holy Spirit will reveal in these prayer times. I have also realized the more time you spend in the presence of the Lord, the more time you want to spend there. It is like nothing I have ever experienced before. Almost like you are in a different world soaking in everything God is showing you. I did not want to leave. He was teaching me more about what he is doing, and saying in these moments of fervent prayer. It was like a new revelation to me of who God is. The more I learn about God the more I want to learn. I love how he speaks to me, and how he is showing me on a deeper level how he wants to communicate with me. The more I listen, he starts to open new ways of speaking to me. He is an amazing God with so many aspects to him that it will take eternity to even understand just a small piece of Him!
I am so blessed to get to be a part of the prayer team here! They are doing a mighty work in this area. And their devotion will be rewarded. In God’s time they will see the territories of Satan fall, and God retake the area for his glory and for his purpose! I hope when God does move I get to hear how His power and their prayer took back what was stolen from them. This is just the beginning of the journey here in Malaysia, I can not wait to see what else God will reveal!!!
