Being here as been a mix of emotions. Excitement, irritation, exhausting, sadness, thrilling, a roller coaster of emotions. Second day here we went to do “Feeding’s” (handing out food to the less fortuned). It was heart reinching to see these kids living conditions. I took some pictures but it does it No justice, you cant smell the stench of trash and stagnate water. You cant see the sharp shards of old broken plaster, and glass. The fecal matter and pee thrown where ever becouse they have no where else to put it. You can t see the malnourished adults who are trying to feed there kids the malnourished kids becouse they dont eat often. You cant see the shacks put together with whatever they can find in the trash. Old pieces of tin, old wood they are in a flood zone so there “house’s” are build up as high as they can get them the stilts they are built on look like they would not hold up a small child let alone a small tin house with a family inside.

The organization I am working with is K.I.M. Kids International Ministry. They hand out food to these kids and families. They have a Women’s Clinic, so women can get regular pregnancy check ups, food, and pre-natal meds. They also have a children’s home here. They are making a difference in the community around this area in Manila, Phillippines.

I’m happy to get to be a part of it to make a small difference in the world. I am blessed beyond words. I need for nothing and feel very humbled by this experience.

I am still needing funding to be able to continue this 11 month mission trip if you would like to donate any amount would be helpful just hit the donate button and subscribe to my blog for updates. Please be praying for this Ministry they are doing an amazing work here in the Phillippines!

God bless
