Hey guys so I know I have been the actual worst when it comes to blogging but from now on I’m gonna do my best to keep you guys up to date with what God is doing in my life and all things world race
So
This last 2 weeks I have been at training camp for the world race at their head quarters in Atlanta, Georgia, which was very exciting cause I have never been south USA
this training camp was an opportunity to hear from lots of speakers who work for adventures in mission, who have done the world race and are now leading teams
We also have several scenarios of what it could potentially be like out on the race….very informative! We had airport scenarios with long layovers and having to pack sleeping stuff in our hand luggage, scenarios on losing luggage (which actually happened to me…more to follow) and sharing tents, and sharing community tents with many people in each.
We also had several sessions geared towards safety, fundraising and ministry. Some of my favourites included ministry, talking about shame, forgiveness, reading the word and planning sermons.
Some of the other cool things that happened included meeting our team leaders, mentors, coaches, and actually being out into the teams for the next 11 months.
One of the things we were challenged do to once make milestones, I’m gonna share a few of mine over the next few days
Talk tomoro 🙂
