I’ve been having a hard time accepting positive feedback. Feedback is more than a compliment, it’s more like an affirmation of your character; an observation a teammate makes about something that shows the uniqueness of your heart.
Testing out my new camera, thanks Fwank;)>

My self-inflicted homework, thanks for the suggestion Suz, has been to look through the book of Romans, looking for the promises God has made to me. In my last blog, I wrote about how He always delivers on His promises. Well, since that is true, my job is to look for what He is promising me, and then eagerly wait.  Here’s some notes on what I have found so far:

God promises that He is my friend- Rom 1:1
God sends people to proclaim and explain His words and actions to us-Rom 1:1
God generously sent His Son to be with us-Rom 1:2
He sends/brings me presents-Rom 1:5
God provides community with diverse people to enhance and deepen our experiences-Rom 1:14
Before I was born, God hatched a plan to rescue me from my mistakes and bad choices-Rom 1:16
He wants me to live a Real, vivid Life- Rom 1:17
God makes up His own mind about us- Rom 1:16

How great is that? That no matter what we think of ourselves (we're crummy, not worthy, lame, ugly, unloveable etc, etc) God, makes up His own mind. He decides whether we are worthy of His love. And you know what? The answer is always, yes, you are loved. So who am I to stand in His way, doubting His choice to work thorugh me. Who the heck am I, to say, no thanks God? He is so good.
