The theme of this blog is…dun dun dun…. excuses! My last blog didn't go over too well and I got really mad about the whole situation. Then I got sad, then I felt devastated, then I talked about it, got a LOT of healing around ancient family issues, too much it felt like, then I was hopeful, then sad again, then really really over it.
I've been praying for days for healing, taking the advice of others far wiser, like my 18 yr old sister who is a BOSS. Also, btw, welcome to World Race D Squad code. Boss= super cool, super awesome, super on top of it and all around great.
I'm done making excuses for the way I choose to be. I'm done being mad at people for their choices. Even if people make choices I really don't like, it's not my problem, it's not my battle. I don't need to fight for anyone, not even those I hold dear, because our Pappa has already one every single battle FOR US. He is the God of the angel armies, and He fights for us. How glorious!
Also, promising some pictures on my blog soon. I got a chance to speak with a class of 5th graders in Tecate, Ca and have some fun things to share. They are awesome.
Thank you to Josh and Tania for opening up their home to me, helping me save two months of overpriced San Diego rent, sharing their dogs, birds, food and love. Thank you to Terri for her unflagging support and enthusiasm, thank you to Jessi, Casey, Amanda, Chase, Naomi, Brittany B, Kelly, Lindsay, Denise and Mom for constantly checking in with me about how my fundraising is going, and checking on the state of my soul. Thanks to Dani, Chase, Amanda and Tania for your FIRM affirmations that I am my Pappa's precious baby daughter. Thanks to both my fathers for your love and supporting me however you can. Thanks to my sisters and little bro, pretty much just for being you. You 5 changed my life in the awesomest way. Don't know where I'd be without you. Can't wait to hang out with each of you when I get home!
