Hello everyone! I just got back from Training Camp, which was from October 18th-28th in Gainesville, Georgia. There is SO much to be said about Training Camp, so I am going to write a few different blogs over the next few weeks. First I just wanted to share some basic updates with you!

  1. First of all, THANK YOU! Thank you to everyone who donated so far! I literally could not have made it to Training Camp without you. Thank you to everyone who prayed! I felt so covered by your prayers the whole time and was constantly reminded how grateful I am to have such an amazing support system.
  2. I passed the physical hike! 😀 As you know, this was really the primary thing I was worried about leading up to Training Camp. We did the hike on the third day, after doing one practice hike. I passed, and then was able to relax a bit for the rest of the time. Thank you soooo much for praying for me!
  3. Our route changed! These are the countries we are planning on going to now:

                Australia

                Indonesia

                Sri Lanka

                India

                Nepal

                Kyrgyzstan

                Kazakhstan

                Georgia

                Azerbaijan

                Spain

                Morocco

Why all the changes? Malaysia was changed to Sri Lanka because it made more sense geographically once they decided our ministry location in India. They are having trouble getting visas for China lately. They are still discussing this and may decide to try to get visas after all. There is a safety reason we cannot go to Tajikistan. We also cannot go to Turkey because the U.S. and Turkey have closed their borders with each other.

This, of course, still may change.

Also, we think we are going to be near Brisbane for ministry in Australia. I cannot make any promises, but if you are going to be in the area around January, please let me know! I may be able to see you one day!

  1. I got my team, Shameless Audacity! I have four teammates named Fei, Victoria, Anna, and Melissa. You can see them on the left side of my blog under “Meet My Team.” We will be doing ministry together for the first few months.  Please pray for team unity, friendship, and that we will make an impact together!

More updates to come! Thank you for being a part of this journey with me.
