I always read other racers "about me" section and wanted to make mine sound just as epic as theirs. Well, I gave good thought to it and realized if it doesn't turn out that way..that's quite alright. Here's me:
My name is Ashley (if you ever forget it..just think of the most cliche name you know. Works every time).
I have a beautiful, loving, supporting family and two nephews (6 and 2) who are my best friends.
I have amazing best friends who basically are my family.
I have a beautiful dog that I love so much…aka my child.
Grew up in Hamilton, Ohio (North of Cincinnati).
Went to college at Eastern Kentucky University and lived there until 2008.
Moved to Florida the following year for a job at Fueled By Ramen Records.
December 2009 I then got my job that I truly do love at Delta Airlines as a flight attendant. I thank God every chance I can for the opportunity that he gave me to have this job. It IS heartbreaking to me that I'll be quitting at the end of the year, but I know that this is for something that God wants me to do. Soul searching, praying, and answered prayers are the compass to my life right now. God will provide.
With that said..my name is Ashley. I'll be in the January 2012 group and I'm more than anxious and overwhelmed with thoughts about it. Here's to it!
