Mondays are our ‘free’ days here in Romania. Several of us decided we would hike up a peak that we can see out our back window!
Had the adventure of finding taxis to take us a little closer, then getting dropped off at a random spot on a gravel road and starting to hike.
And hiking some more…
We met some friends along the way
Ran out of water, but near the peak we came across a home and spring water that was much needed, and so refreshing, it’s great how God provides in the simplest of ways!
Met some friendly and not so friendly dogs along the way…I didn’t stop to take the time to get pictures of the unfriendly ones 🙂
There were some great views, the tree in the center of the panorama was a great shady spot where Erica and I were able to get to know each other a little bit while enjoying God’s creation.
This was a relaxing, fun, adventureful, and informative rest day where we hiked up Piatra Craivii in Apulon…
