This coming month we were scheduled to be in Bulgaria, but through random chance and act…Just kidding, it’s completely a God thing! We will be serving on the island of Lesvos in Moria at a refugee camp.

Below is a little snippet that was sent to us about the camp…

Moria is the largest camp on the island of Lesvos; there are over 3,000 refugees living there right now.  We manage NFI (Non-Food Items) for new arrivals, housing, a clothing “store,” and camp support.  We work in new arrivals and with vulnerable people (minors, families, and single women).  We offer tea each night, help with some food distribution, show sporting events a few nights a week, and offer sports. We serve women and children on Saturdays with a visit to our clothing “store”, tea, and a craft.  Lastly, we have an off-site warehouse where we sort clothes.

So basically we get to serve Jesus for a month on a beautiful island!

It will be hard as this will be the first month where we will see a lot of physical and spiritual need.

This route change only includes 3 of our 7 teams, the other 4 will still be serving throughout Bulgaria.

With this change since the costs in Greece are higher we will have to do a little more fundraising!

So if you didn’t get the chance to give earlier, and would like to contribute you can do so at the link below.

Since it’s several teams going, we are all responsible for a total of $2300.

Feel free to ask any questions!
