Hey friends! Happy rainy Thursday from the North Woods of Maine! I wanted to take a moment to share a quick update about my World Race Journey. For those who haven’t heard, starting January 2019 I will spend the following 11 months on a mission trip to 11 different countries serving with various local ministries. It seems like time has flown by since I announced this in April. Finding balance and managing my time and additional responsibilities as I prepare for the World Race has been a challenge. I have several blog posts nearly ready to be published, fundraisers in planning mode, and a backpack waiting to be filled with the necessities of world travel.
As I prepare, I urge you to follow along. Check out my blog to read previous posts for details about the World Race and why I decided to go then subscribe for updates. Also, please keep your eyes open for fundraising opportunities and consider joining my sponsorship team. Donations can be made directly through the blog. My current support total is $3,377 with a goal of $18,200 (18.55%). During this time of transition, I really appreciate your prayers and words of support. Encouragement builds strength, calms nerves, and shows your commitment to my journey. It makes a difference…. so comment on my posts, send a quick text or message, tell me you’ve got my back. This adventure is going to be amazing, and you don’t want to miss out!
I Thessalonians 5:11 Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.
Hebrews 10:23-25 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another-and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
