Colombia sits at the crossroads of Central and South America, making its culture almost as diverse as its natural resources. The nation is also heavily influenced by Native American, Latin, European, African, Middle Eastern, and American cultures.

Colombia is the world’s leading source of emeralds, and its coffee is world-renown. (who wants me to bring home coffee?!)
My Prayer for Colombia-
I pray as our group of young adults comes to Colombia, the Spirit would give us the direction of who to meet and who to minister too. I pray we could bond with local young adults to shift the rejection of the gospel that is happening now.

Named after the Spanish word for “Equator,” Ecuador is full of natural beauty. From the Amazon River to Andean glacial volcanoes, this country—and its people—are sure to enthrall you. Quito, is the highest capital city in the world, at over 9,300 feet above sea level. Its views are breathtaking. Although prosperous on the whole, specific regions of Ecuador continue to struggle. With more than half of the population at or below the poverty line, Ecuador is a country waiting for God’s Kingdom to come.

- Even though Ecuador is small, it has a diverse landscape. The Galapagos Islands off the coast are home to some of the most interesting animals in the world.
- Ecuador has numerous volcanoes that make up its terrain. Many of them are still considered active.
- Ecuador is the largest exporter of cacao beans in the world.
My prayer for Ecuador –
I pray for our last month on the World Race. As we debrief and try to process, I pray the Lord would comfort us and surround us. I pray He would remind us of his commandment to not fear. I pray we would trust His plans completely, His heart and His will for us.
