Holà mis amigos!!!! We’re currently in Medellín, Columbia. We had a very intersting time getting to Columbia however. Irmageddon aka Hurricane Irma decided to not let us fly out of Atlanta, Georgia, instead she had us reside in a church about an hour away. We stayed there for about two days and slept on our mattress pads. Then once the fury of Irma settled down a bit we packed up and headed off to the greyhound bus where we would spend 16 loooooong hours riding off to Washington D.C.
We then waited til around 4:30 to catch our flight and let me tell you I have never been so happy to see a airplane seat with a movie before! Bless!!! We landed in El Salvador wherewe then hopped onto another flight to get us to Columbia. We arrived at our ministry host’s house around 3am eastern time. Let me tell y’all we were extremely tired and just a teensy bit cranky haha!
But havingthe best time! God has taught me so much about patience and when it comes to waiting, I’m not the most patient person so I have been learning to take a step back and waiting. I’m so excited to see what God has in store for our squad!!!!
