Dear Family and Friends,

During my time at Gardner-Webb University, I had the opportunity to serve through missions in Dundrum, Northern Ireland and Tanzania, Africa. Given these extraordinary opportunities I was able to see the Lord work in many ways and also realize what His calling is for me. All of my life I’ve felt the Lord calling me to live a life sacrificial to Him, while also in service to others, but I never really knew what that meant for me. It wasn’t until a couple of months ago I realized what that truly meant for my life. It meant giving up what I was most comfortable with and allowing Him to be the true leader and author of my life. It also meant giving up my future plans in order to glorify Him and what He wants for me. And what does He want of me you ask? He wants me to travel to 11 different countries in 11 months to share the gospel with those around the world!

The World Race is an 11-month Christian mission trip to 11 countries around the world. It is a stretching journey to serve “the least of these” while amongst real and raw community. This unique mission trip is a challenging adventure for young adults to abandon worldly possessions and a traditional lifestyle in exchange for an understanding that it’s not about you; it’s about the Kingdom. Through the World Race, my team and I will serve in partnership with churches, work in orphanages, minister to women and children trapped in prostitution as a result of human trafficking, and bring the restorative hope of the Father’s love to many tribes and nations.

I will face many challenges all throughout the World Race, but as I prepare for my departure, one of my greatest challenges is my financial support. Like most other mission organizations, World Race participants are required to fundraise financial support. In order to leave fully funded in January of 2018, I need to raise $18,100. This money will cover all of my field expenses for the 11 months of the trip, excluding the equipment for the trip. As I take this large step of faith in trusting the Lord, would you prayerfully consider joining me at $100 monthly or some other amount? If God is leading you to help out financially there are a couple ways you can give:
