So. I couldn’t go another day without writing to say thank you to everyone. I know I haven’t written in a very long time…and I’m sorry about that. But really. I am COMPLETELY and utterly blown away right now. I officially got accepted into The World Race family on May 8, 2009 and today is June 21, 2009 (so roughly 6 weeks ago I got accepted), and I have already raised roughly $9,000. YES! $9,000.

Thank you SO much for your prayers! To all of you who are praying for me, for my team, for the countries and people we’ll be visiting, to the little things like sickness, food, travels, etc…Thank you for including me in your prayers. It is a beautiful thing.

Thank you to Jackson Way Baptist Church and ALL its members. The place that I grew up has supported me in so many ways (on this trip and long long before it). I really do thank you all and love you all.

Thank you Summit Crossing! I spoke a little bit last Sunday about what I was going to be doing, and in ONE week I raised OVER $2,000. I really really adore the members and attendees of Summit Crossing. And I am blessed and thankful to be surrounded by such wonderful lovers of Jesus on Sundays and throughout the week.  I. Love. You.

Thank you to ALL of my friends that are praying, giving, helping, and loving Jesus. I love you all. And I probably (or definitely) wouldn’t be here right now if weren’t for you.

Thank you to my family. If I didn’t have the support base that I have with you, I DEFINITELY would not be going on The World Race. Thank you for the love that you have shown me. Not just any kind of love, but the Jesus kind of love you’ve shown me. I am so incredibly blessed to have SUCH a wonderful, supportive family.

To the people that I haven’t even met yet, or have only briefly met, I am blown away that you would support me…and then I realize that even though I am going…the money isn’t going to “me” per se…but the Kingdom. And that makes me…so happy, inside and out. So thank you. Thank you. Thank YOU!
