Just going to say. This month is fun.
I am so bad at blogging. and I’ll probably apologize each time…

but we are staying in Szekesfehervar Hungary. and our goal this month, since we are NOT in Egypt, is to establish contacts here becuase AIM has never sent a team into Hungary.  All of J and K squads this month are travelling into countries that the World Race has never been to, so its amazing to see God working in these places!

So our story of this town goes about like this:

We arrived to Budapest Sunday morning on an overnight train from Brasov, Romania. AIM had given us 2 cities in Hungary taht they felt that God was calling us to go to, so we parked our stuff at the train station for a few hours while we figured out what we were going to do.  We prayed. and prayed. we looked into nearby hostels to see how expensive it would be to stay a night there and then go to our cities. We prayed and felt like God was calling us to this town, Szekesfehervar.  So we found a bus and bused here.  We get here with no ministry contacts, no place to stay, and pretty much no information about this town. Finally our bus driver was basically like, ok i have to go home and dropped us off in front of a McDonalds.  So in front of the McDonalds we gathered together and prayed God would lead our steps.  We split off into a few different groups to scope out the city, for churches, places to stay, anyone that might be able to help us. So for about 5-6 hours we looked and finally found a campground about a 30-45 minute walk away. So we walked with our 50-60 pound packs, for like 45 minutes, to the campground in the dark. Fun times. Looking back though I bet we looked hysterical.
Anyway during our time here the Lord has brought us to an INCREDIBLE Baptist church in the area. We found the address online and found the church and it was closed. But as we were walking away a young girl entered and we asked if she knew the pastor and it turned out to be his daughter!  So we set up a meeting with him the next morning and then from there God has just blessed us tremendously.  They invited us to church this past Sunday AND cooked us a meal. Well the youth pastor’s wife cooked everything and it was AMAZING.  They gave us mashed potatoes, potato wedges, traditional Hungarian turkey, fried turkey, chicken, cream corn, salad, fruit soup, and dessert.  Seriously it was the most amazing thing ever.

And today we found out that the 2 teams here will be splitting up to go into more areas of Hungary and “help prepare the way.”  I will be leaving in a couple of days with a team to go to a town called Gyor and I’m so excited to further see how God will provide!! It really has been such a relief to be in a situation to fully rely and trust on God.  I thank you all so much for your prayers and thoughts! I miss you all!!
