It’s so crazy to go from month to month for me. It’s pretty surreal…and then I think “oh yes tomorrow on your way to Nairobi you’ll get to visit the PYRAMIDS.” And all I can really say is Thank you Jesus. Thank you so much for everything. Oh man. This will be a very short blog but I just wanted to let everyone know that we leave Israel in about 10 minutes probably and we’re headed to Cairo, Egypt to catch a flight to Nairobi Kenya. We’ll be in Nairobi for about 3 days and then we head to Uganda. We found out we will be working in the slums in Kampala, Uganda and I could not be more excited. I am anxious to see what God has in store and I will keep you posted as we find out more information.
I can’t believe the time has gone by so quick here. I feel like we just got here…and my bags are already packed to leave again. We had a wonderful month pouring into the lady we babysat for, and she poured into us so much more. The love that I saw in her and her family, was so much of Jesus love that it was seriously like going to be with Jesus each day we helped her out. I am forever changed by her love and her compassion and her faith in Christ. AND her children!! Oh they are lovely! Anyway. Thank you again for the prayers…and just so you know we will be crossing the Egyptian/Israeli border sometime tonight (or afternoon for you guys!) so pray that goes smoothly, because we are taking an overnight bus to Cairo.
